Tasting Experiences

You’ll find truth in your glass! We offer a full range of casual tastings up to formal tasting experiences in-group settings for two guests up to 30, but we always focus on finding truth in your glass. To that end, no great tasting experience can be complete without questions. We encourage our participants to ask questions and interact so we can learn from each other. ORGANIZING YOUR TASTING

There are a myriad of ways to organize a tasting and we are quite flexible to create to unique whiskey experiences including rare and vintage expressions as well as contemporary selections. Below are a couple of formatted tasting experiences that utilize contemporary selections:.


AMERICAN WHISKEY: SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES OF STYLE:

In this tasting we use each of the most prevalent styles of American Whiskey (Bourbon, Rye, Tennessee and Finished) to tell the story of distilling in America. While we enjoy the pours, we also talk about the history and significance of each distillery while we compare and contrast each style.
Bourbon Whiskey:  Rye Mashbill- Old Forester
Bourbon Whiskey: Wheat Mashbill - Old Fitzgerald
Rye Whiskey: Pikesville Rye
Tennessee Whiskey: George Dickel
Finished Bourbon: Belle Meade Sherry Finish


WORLD WHISKEY

In this tasting, we use each of the most prevalent styles of World Whiskey to tell the story of the proliferation of whiskey worldwide. While we enjoy the pours, we also talk about the history and significance of each distillery while we compare and contrast each style.
Bourbon Whiskey: Henry McKenna 10yr Bottled-in-Bond
Blended Scotch Whiskey: Johnny Walker Black Label
Single Malt Scotch Whiskey: Ardbeg 10yr
Japanese Whiskey: Yamazaki 12yr
